Forty years on from the publication of her book, Damned Whores and God's Police, feminist author Dr Anne Summers says Australia still has a long way to go before gender equality is a reality.
Dr Summers delivered the keynote address at a three-day conference at the University of Technology in Sydney to mark the anniversary of the book's first print run.
